Physiotherapy focuses on helping your body move and function better, whether you’re coming back from an injury, living with a chronic condition, or trying to stay ahead of potential problems.
At Active Recovery, we help the Griffith community reach their movement and health goals through evidence-based physiotherapy. You’ll get thoughtful care, helpful advice, and a plan designed to help you move forward with confidence.

Our team delivers a wide array of physiotherapy services to help you stay on track—whether you’re working through an injury, addressing persistent pain, or managing a long-term issue.

We assess and treat muscle, joint, and bone conditions to reduce pain, restore movement, and improve function.

We aim to support you in improving movement, coordination, and everyday independence while managing a neurological condition.

Our team provides support for sports injuries and rehab, helping you get back to your game with renewed strength and confidence.

We provide rehab support for a variety of situations, including before and after surgery, as well as work, road, and sports injuries.

We work with people managing long-term health concerns to help them move well, stay active, and maintain their independence.

Our approach supports your transition back to work by working through physical barriers and focusing on injury prevention.

As you grow older, keeping your strength and independence makes a real difference—and we’re here to help you along the way.

Our pain education program helps you understand the science behind your experience and learn approaches that support better day-to-day management.
Many conditions can be treated with physiotherapy, from rehabbing a specific injury to more general pain management. Our dedicated team of clinical and sports physiotherapists has seen it all, no problem is too big or too small.
Your physio may use various approaches, including soft tissue techniques, mobilisation, exercise-based rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, dry needling, electrotherapy, hot/cold therapy, and educational strategies to help manage your condition.
We recommend wearing clothing that’s easy to move in and gives your physio access to the area of concern, such as activewear or shorts and a t-shirt. Supportive footwear is also ideal.
Session numbers can vary based on your condition’s severity and how you respond to treatment. Your physio will advise you on how many sessions may be needed and help taper them off as you improve.
You may experience some discomfort as part of treatment, especially when working with sensitive areas, but it shouldn’t be painful. Always tell your physio if something needs adjusting.
