Improving how your body moves and works is at the heart of physiotherapy—whether you’re recovering, managing a condition, or trying to prevent issues down the track.
At Active Recovery, our physiotherapy team offers the Stirling community evidence-based treatments that are tailored to their individual goals. We’re here to support you with hands-on care, practical advice, and a clear plan to help you feel your best.

We offer a broad range of comprehensive physiotherapy services to ensure that you’re provided with the best possible support. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, need pain management, or are dealing with a long-term health condition, we’re here to help.

Through careful assessment and hands-on care, we aim to address issues affecting muscles, joints, and bones to help reduce discomfort and improve how your body functions.

Our care may help enhance your coordination, mobility, and independence when navigating a neurological condition.

We offer sports injury management and rehabilitation to help you recover faster and return to your sport stronger than before.

Our rehabilitation services cover a range of needs, from pre- and post-surgery to workplace, motor vehicle, and sports-related injuries.

We work with people managing long-term health concerns to help them move well, stay active, and maintain their independence.

We help you return to work safely by managing physical challenges and offering guidance on how to avoid further strain or injury.

As you grow older, keeping your strength and independence makes a real difference—and we’re here to help you along the way.

Hydrotherapy offers great support for recovery, long-term pain, and general wellness. Come along to one of our sessions.

Our pain education program helps you understand the science behind your experience and learn approaches that support better day-to-day management.
Physiotherapy can help with a wide range of concerns, from targeted injury recovery to ongoing pain. Our team of clinical and sports physiotherapists brings experience and care to every situation—big or small.
Our physios may employ a variety of treatments in the management of your condition, including hands-on therapies (such as soft tissue massage and joint mobilisation), exercise therapy, hydrotherapy, dry needling, electrotherapy, hot and cold therapy, and patient education.
If possible, wear loose, comfortable clothing, such as shorts and a t-shirt. Your physio will need to be able to easily access the affected area, and tight or restrictive clothing can impede this. It’s recommended to wear comfortable footwear, as you may be on your feet and moving around.
This varies from person to person, as it depends on the nature and severity of your condition. Some people also respond better to treatment than others. Your physio will be able to advise on the expected number of sessions and will work with you to gradually decrease their frequency.
Physiotherapy shouldn’t be very painful, though some discomfort may occur during treatment. It’s important to let your physio know if anything feels uncomfortable so adjustments can be made.
